Pisak is a small fishing and tourist village that has its roots back to 1500's. year, located 16 kilometers south of Omis, 18 km northwest of Makarska. Pisak is extremely proud of its beauty, unspoiled nature and beautiful beaches. The resort is quiet and safe for children.

The climate in Pisak is extremely favorable and suitable for sunbathing and bathing from May to October. Especially it’s pretty before season and after season because it’s extremely warm and quiet and the prices are much lower. We have pebbled beaches; the sea is clean and convenient for children because the sea goes gradually from shallow to deep. Geographically situated in a bay and on this small part of the coast, you can choose between sand, gravel and rocky beaches, we recommend it for a family vacation or holiday lover of the sea and water sports. The sea is exceptionally clean because there never was industry near us, and we have a lot of sea streams that mixed it regularly.

 

In quiet and little place Pisak you have supermarket, little market with fresh fruit, vegetables and daily caught fresh fish, cafe bar.

Evenings you can unwind in the restaurant and wine cellar where you will find friendly hosts prepared fish in a traditional Dalmatian style,

you can enjoy some of the local specialties and  the tastes of Mediterranean cuisine and excellent wine.

In Pisak You can rent a boat and go bathing on some of the smaller lonely beaches or go on one-day trip on the island Brac with boat.

The cultural and natural sights of the Pisak area offer excellent targets for trips, excursions and hikes.

The closest of such is the cove called Vruja, halfway between Pisak and Brela, just below the road coming from the freeway, Å estanovac. Vrulja means underwater spring in Croatian - these freshwater streams come from the Biokovo Mountains.

Just a few kilometers away from Pisak you can  visit the nearby town Omis situated at the foot of the mountain Biokovo and the mouth of the river Cetina, which offers a great view of where it is located. You can try rafting on the river Cetina  or climbing on the rocks of the mountain Biokovo. Omis has a beautiful pebble beach, the old town of inflectional worth seeing because of its landmarks.

Take an evening walk through tiny streets and squares and enjoy great sea food and Italian ice cream in the open air cafes!
